Chad Sehlke leads Buck Fever Company with a hands-on approach and a long-term vision for its properties, people, and operations. As Owner & Ranch Manager, he establishes the company’s direction while overseeing the standards that shape Buck Fever’s hunting, wildlife, hospitality, and land-management experiences.
Chad remains closely involved in ranch operations, land acquisition and development, infrastructure projects, major financial decisions, and new business opportunities. He works directly with Buck Fever’s leadership team to establish priorities, solve challenges, and ensure each part of the company continues moving forward with purpose.
His vision for Buck Fever brings together responsible land stewardship, exceptional outdoor experiences, quality hospitality, and thoughtful growth. Chad’s commitment to building something lasting continues to guide the company as it expands across North Michigan and beyond.

Chief Administrative Officer
Darby plays a central role in keeping Buck Fever Company organized, responsive, and moving forward. As Chief Administrative Officer, she manages the essential day-to-day administrative and financial details of the business while overseeing purchasing across Buck Fever's operations.
Darby is also deeply involved in shaping and managing the Buck Fever brand. She coordinates marketing initiatives, works with creative and advertising partners, and helps ensure the company's websites, social media, promotions, and other materials consistently reflect the quality of the Buck Fever experience.
In addition, Darby oversees Buck Fever Lodge operations, including guest preparation, chef and meal coordination, and lodge bookings outside the hunting season. Her attention to detail, commitment to hospitality, and ability to manage the many moving parts behind the scenes help create a seamless experience for both the Buck Fever team and its guests.
